Children's Books to Promote Diversity

February is Black History Month. This month and every month we want parents to remember the importance of reading books that promote diversity awareness. Children's books can be a great way to introduce discussions about identity, cultural awareness, and the importance of diversity. Your children can learn valuable lessons about how to appreciate and be more accepting of people who are different than them. Openness and acceptance starts at home.
