We opened Violette Boutique on a sunny afternoon in October of 2005. Determined to supply the city of Victoria, British Columbia with the finest in fashion jewelry, accessories, and little luxuries an institution was born. 

With our backgrounds in fashion retail my mum and I set out to provide a unique experience for our customers from start to finish with upbeat and knowledgeable staff (fondly referred to as the Violette Gems), stunning displays, and most importantly Canadian-made products with an emphasis on quality and exclusivity. 

 From this Violette has grown (from a tiny 700 square-foot shop) to our current location (at more than twice the size of our original home) that features some of the top names in independent jewelry design. While offering a selection of recognizable brands our focus remains on Canadian-made products and represents a variety of locally based jewelry designers such as Leah Alexandra and Pyrrha, with a few other tiny treasures thrown in for good measure.
